Guidelines TO Prepare A Chapter Proposal

To prepare the chapter proposal, please adhere to the following format:

I. TITLE PAGE

Proposed Chapter title, volume (Vol. I or Vol. II), and author(s) information (include addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses).

II. INTRODUCTION

In 3- 4 paragraphs, describe the work, its rationale, objectives and approach.

III. CONTENT

Highlight chapter organization. Attach a table of contents of chapter. The table of contents should be complete and detailed. Explanatory notes should be included as necessary. Also, it is a plus to include any of the following information:

a. What portion of the material is now complete? (Only unpublished work is accepted). If available, you may include some sample pages as Appendix A.
b. What is the estimated number of chapter pages (double-spaced typed pages)?
c. How many and what figures (drawings, photographs, charts, etc.) you expect to include?

IV. AUTHOR(S) BACKGROUND

Summarize your education, previous publication and professional experiences that facilitate the preparation of the chapter. Attach relevant curriculum vita.
Note: Sections I through IV should not exceed a total of four (4) pages, excluding appendices.
