US national football team comes to a new age where the young generation push the team forward with their passion and effort. Pulisic,the youngest player in the team, prove that this generation can bring more thing to the team instead of youth. He is not the only one attracting = the American football fans. Mallory Pugh draws the attention in female team, who is the youngest footballer playing for senior team in more than ten years. She describes American football style is “unique”. Pugh gave a high praise to the new football kits with the words, “ I love how patriotic it is. It’s bright and makes a statement”.The new shirt is designed and released by Nike, a longstanding cooperator with the team. As pugh described, the new shirt is so patriotic. The shirt use white as background to highlight the stripes tinted with blue and red, both of which are drawn from American famous national flap, the Stars and Stripes. Eight lines start from left side with red fading into blue and go longer from top to bottom. The blue part at the end of each line form a abstract sash sliding form left shoulder to right waist, by which the designer try to pay homage to various shirt wore by players recently. This modern interpretation of the American flag endow the shirt an aesthetic of speed.
As a core value of the nation, “One Nation, One Team” reveal the character of cultural diversity but also unity. The slogan is advocated by USSF aiming to eliminate the discrimination in the pitch in 2014 and it is embroidered inside the collar of both home and away shirt. There, the adage forms a distinct starting point for a set of uniforms that will see both the women’s and men’s teams through initial qualifying stages for the next major international tournaments.
