Eight lines start from left side with red fading into blue and go longer from top to bottom. The blue part at the end of each line form a abstract sash sliding form left shoulder to right waist, by which the designer try to pay homage to various shirt wore by players recently. This modern interpretation of the American flag endow the shirt an aesthetic of speed.

As a core value of the nation, “One Nation, One Team” reveal the character of cultural diversity but also unity. The slogan is advocated by USSF aiming to eliminate the discrimination in the pitch in 2014 and it is embroidered inside the collar of both home and away shirt.
